Sessions

Family sessions are the heart and soul of Jenny Dinky Photography.  There is nothing I love more than watching a family walk together laugh together, snuggle together while I capture all of their best and most genuine moments.  Family sessions happen at golden hour prior to sunset for up to 60 minutes at one perfect location.  Unlimited pre-session consultations, styling guidance and client closet access for mothers and girls from 12 months to 5t included.  Your session will be as unique as your family.  Our pre-session chats will create the perfect session at the perfect location that will capture what makes your family uniquely yours. 

Expecting a baby, whether it is your first or you're welcoming a sibling for big brother or sister, is a miraculous time.  I LOVE celebrating this journey with a maternity session.  Picking that perfect gown, designing that perfect session for you is just a joy for me. Maternity sessions can take place anywhere; during golden hour in a beautiful field or in your home nursery as you prepare for baby's arrival.  One of my favorite sessions was just mom snuggled up on the couch sipping tea.  Maternity sessions can be anything that you love. I provide styling guidance and client closet access. Don't see something you love in my closet, let's find your perfect gown in my network of rental options.  Your session will be as unique as you are.

Organic flow.  Newborn sessions with Jenny Dinky Photography focus on Baby and parents and not fussy buckets and props.  These sessions feature the house you made a home and the family you created within its walls.  I capture the sweet snuggles on the bed, the gentle caress of baby's head while they are sleeping in their cribs, swaddled gently in little dressing gowns and wraps.  All newborn sessions include customized wraps and accessories as needed.

Organic flow.  Newborn sessions with Jenny Dinky Photography focus on Baby and parents and not fussy buckets and props. 2020 saw the addition of on location GOLDEN HOUR newborn sessions.  These are only available from May through September weather permitting.    These sessions feature the gorgeous light of golden hour with is the 90 minutes prior to sunset.  Think of warm tones, fields of grass, wooded trails, or even your favorite urban park.  These sessions have a little more styling including coordinated wraps, lace blankets or quilts, a Moses bassinet and a simple layer and basket for newborn portraits.  All newborn sessions include styling guidance, and customized wraps and accessories as needed.
